Granny

Granny Joyce came to visit for a few days.  It is nice to have her around.  She is 85 now.  The boys like her and give her hugs and kisses.  They all sat on the couch today and enjoyed a Thomas the Train book together.  It was sweet to watch.  Granny even mentioned that she has seen the cartoon on TV before.

This week

We closed on our Stapleton house yesterday afternoon- May 16, 2012!  Everything went well and we feel so blessed and happy.  Cesar and I went out to eat at a nice restaurant after the closing.  We haven't gone to pick up our keys yet, but plan to tomorrow.
Here is one of our bunny friends.  There are a few baby bunnies living under some of the rocks outside my parent's house.  They are so adorable.  The boys really like to see them too.
Cesar has been working non-stop lately.  He works 40 hours a week at Triunity (although last week he worked 50, so this week he is only working 30), and the rest of his time he spends in the garage building our kitchen cabinets.  It is a long process, but will be worth it in the end.  He is so smart!

Eli and Diego are so cute and such sweet brothers.  I am so glad they are mine!

Sunday was Mother's Day.  I had a nice day with family.  The boys and Cesar let me sleep in and brought me a nice plate of yummy cookies and some fruit in the morning.  Later my dad and Cesar made breakfast tacos for us.  We went to church and then we had a big family dinner.  The men (my dad, Cesar, Tony and Troy) made the dinner.  We had hamburgers and pudding parfait.  It was really good and we had a nice time just chatting while the kids played outside.

Swimming Lessons

Eli is taking swimming lessons; he is in the Guppy class.
He is doing well and goes under water a lot now.  I can tell he still doesn't love it, but he does it every time his teacher asks him to.  I have also noticed he doesn't freak out anymore in the bath when I am rinsing his hair and water gets in his face- so that is good.
He is getting good at floating on his back- not by himself but with his teacher's help.
He really likes class and I'm excited for him.

We hope to do a lot of swimming this summer!
On the last day of class he got to go down the waterslide.  He really liked it!
