We had a nice long weekend spending time with family and enjoying life.
Friday Ruby and I went to the boys' Valentine's parties at school.
Then we meet Mindi and her kids at the rec center to swim. It was fun, but always very hectic and stressful to get all the kids to get ready and changed and out of the pool when it's time.
Saturday the boys each had a basketball game and then we meet Sandra, Dayton, and Cesar's bother, Alfredo and his wife Liz for lunch. We went by Cesar's office and then ate a Mexican restaurant. It was nice to be with Cesar's family.
Sunday we went to church and then Alfredo and Liz came over for lunch. Cesar made sandwiches. Later we went to the temple grounds with them and walked around and took a couple of pictures.
After the temple we all ate dinner and had dessert at our house. I made tortilla soup and strawberry cheesecake. It was a nice Valentine's Day.
Monday Sandra and Dayton got married. It was a nice wedding.
The kids also had the day off from school on Tuesday. I got free tickets from the library for the Morrison Natural History Museum. It was a nice little museum and we got a great little tour from the worker. Diego knows a lot about dinosaurs because he had been studying them in kindergarten. He is smart!
After the museum we went to Red Rocks. We ate lunch on the seats and went to the little museum. Eli walked up and down the stairs a few times and he saw a classmate there too. We had a good time.
I took a picture of an old Beatles ticket from 1964. Notice how much the ticket cost! Wow.

Diego
Diego is almost 6! He loves school and he plays pretty well with Ruby and Eli. He has his first loose tooth. Here are a few pictures of him.
Diego participated in the Swigert Science Fair. It was fun to work with him on the project. He got 3rd place.
Diego is playing basketball with Central Park rec center. He enjoys it most of the time. He mostly likes the games because they get a snack and drink after they play.
Diego playing on our snow day.
Walking home from school on pajama day. Diego wore his once piece space pajamas.
Eli
Here are a few pictures of Eli lately. He is growing up and I love him and am proud of what he does. He is a nice big brother and a great friend and son.
Eli and Cesar worked on a puzzle together that we got for Christmas.
Eli studied monarch butterflies in school. He wrote a book about them and made a diorama.
He is playing in a Central Park rec center team. There are 3 boys from church also playing. He is really good at defense.
Eli loves playing tether ball at school. He says he plays most recesses and sometimes after or before school for a little bit.
Eli's visit to the fire house
Eli's cub scout troop went to visit a fire station last night. A guy from church works there and gave them a tour. Cesar went too.
Ruby is 3!
Our little girl is 3 already! We all love Ruby so much and she is a sweet part of our family. On her birthday I took her to the Butterfly Pavilion. I got a free pass from the library. We had fun spending girl time together. She even held Rosie, the tarantula!
On Sunday we celebrated at my parent's house.
My mom and dad got her a big doll. She named her Pillow.
Saturday after her birthday, Ruby had her Rainbow party! She invited 5 friends and we had a good time making crafts and eating fruit and cake.
The party invitations.
A couple days after her birthday, Ruby got her first real haircut. She looks older with shorter hair.
