Our minivan broke in April and it was going to cost $1,500 to fix it, so we decided to get a new car! The van was getting old- almost 15 years and had nearly 200,000 miles on it. We got the van with Ruby was 2, Diego was 5, and Eli was 8.
We got a Tesla on May 1st! We love it. It is black with tan interior. It's a 2017 X model and seats 6 people. It cost $35,000. We put $3,000 down and had to finance the rest.
We ended up fixing the van and then selling it on Facebook Marketplace for $8,500 cash. It was fun to have 85 $100's. We took them directly to the bank though.
Cesar also gave his car a little mechanic love and put in a new muffler one day. We may sell his car in the next little while, but not sure yet.
